http://supercrazymonsters.blogspot.com/I stumbled upon an article about the zine in SLUG and instantly fell in love. It is extremely creative and I am excited that he is choosing to publish by himself. I bought the first issue off Etsy and he sent me a hand written note along with a promise of a free second issue. Sure enough within the week the second issue was complete and immediately delivered to my house. Even if you do not understand his work or think its grotesque and immature, the least you can do is check it out. Maybe even drop him $1.50 and get an issue for yourself. If you don't like it, give it away or throw it in the trash. Supporting our local and independent artists is important.
